failure

My occupational therapy professor was rambling the other day but as usual she came through with a little gem of advice. She started talking about failure, which is something I'm very afraid of, as I'm sure many others are. But she told us failure was important, and that we should evaluate how we're doing by how many things we've failed at recently. If we haven't failed at anything, then we're not taking risks and we're not really putting ourselves out there.

Stumble also took me to this quote, which I found fitting for the topic:

"Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly."
- Robert F. Kennedy

I'm not trying to fail my classes or anything, but I think there's a good deal of truth in those words. Now go out there and fail! ;)
